If my smilies would work however, I'd be jumping up and down like a mad thing - I'm sure this isn't good for the old blood pressure!

Isn't it all rather flipping brilliant!

It sure is Lainey.

Have a few smilies from me. :cheer: :yahoo: :bounce: :spin: :dancing:

That's a point - are any of us actually avoiding the spoiler threads or are we all just spoiler tarts :D

From Griff on Dev, a quick text from Bumbling

The Boy Done Good

Well we knew he would

Thanks to Griff:

Julie just rang me as she is in traffic and it's not easy to text.

She says the whole cast was fantastic and they are all really well matched. Will doesn't stand out as 'The Star' but it's a complete team effort and really works.(I think Will would like that aspect of it) His character changes as the play goes along and he does this really well.

Julie said that the staff at RE are all in love with him and think he's wonderful.

All the cast got a great ovation at the end and Will and his 'mum' Diana, came on separately to equal cheers.

I asked Julie to imagine if she weren't a Will fan would she have been impressed and she honestly thought she would.

Text from Lisa

Final scene was great, lots of in-drawn breaths (I assume she means from the audience) very loud cheers and claps at the end, especially for Nicky and his mum who took a bow on their own.

Awwww, bless Notice how she's already calling him Nicky B)

Sounds as if he's took to the stage like a duck to water. :cheer:

Know just how the RE staff feel.

Can't wait for the full reports - haven't found out yet how good a pianist he is :P

Hello everyone, sorry but I had to go on Devoted to read the thread and get all the news, isn't he just the best? I feel so happy for him and the cast, I'm feeling very proud of him tonight.  :yahoo:

 Good innit.

First report back from Bumbling:

Wel I dont know what to say... and thats not like me

Usually we come out of a concert all hyper and vocal and chatter chatter chatter... I feel a bit awed.

It was a really moving play and very well acted by all of the cast who were evidently very much a team. Nickys Mother was standout!! I am so pleased at the reaction that Will & all of the cast members got. The final act was superb. I got very caught up also in the transformation of Berties character from light to quite distressed and sad during the play.

One little thing which made me smile Wills mannersims and looks are all there.. prob only evident to us ardent fans especially what I call "The Rik Mayall" face

Aw cant wait to go again!

Top marks to the RE staff who are just the best!! And Jo Combes on fantastic direction

Think this may be a typo :P

So absolutely over the moon :yahoo: - I'd been thinking about it all evening, and couldn't wait to get away from my dinner companions. Finally managed it about an hour ago, and have just been reading on D. It all sounds a bit of all right doesn't it!! :cheer: Great texts and first reports. :cheer:

Thanks for that munchkin, that must have just come in as I've not read it and I think you're right about the typo with the name, she's probably too excited to think straight.

Just editing to say, love those programme pics.

Didn't see the programme bit - thanks for bringing it over Munchkin. Is it bearded Will then, or was that just in rehearsal? Lovely pics whatever.

Incidentally Lainey could you add a programme to the list please? :D

Not me - no way - I couldn't wait until it finished

Thanks munchkin, lucky bint.

No problem Chrysalis :)

I'm still basking in a warm glow from all the fabulous reports from last night, well it's either that or I've overdosed on the Lemsips :o ;)

I've said this a lot lately, but ain't it great being a Will fan :D

Spoke to a fan up in Manc this morning and she was telling me that Will was in the local florist on Saturday and the lady in the shop says he is just lovely. He spent 20 minutes in the shop reading her paper and eating her pickled onion crisps
