Do hope this inclination to linger doesn't wear off as the run progresses and some not so.. :cry: Lovely to see him today on his Birthday, such a shame he was not well and had to see a doctor for laryngitis, and was seen all day limping. True professional to the end, the show must go on and all that, even though he was sweating buckets. bless him being poorly...hugs honey. :wub:

January 21, 200718 yr Isn't it always the way though - big things coming up and Will becomes unwell with colds, bad throats etc. Could have something to do with the pressure, but on he soldiers. Always remember him being unwell during the promo for the release of LRN and KO, and yet one of his best performances of LRN was on PI2 when he had a bad cold and throat. I've no doubt he'll be dosing himself to-day in readiness for tomorrow. Fingers crossed all will be well. Lovely pic - doesn't he look young. :D

I really had thought he had gone out of the stage door outside.. but i looked around and saw him.. coming out of the staff room in the RE.. in a grey hoody.. THOSE jeans.. and converse! He looked amazing! He headed right towards us.. and as soon as i seen him.. i burst out crying! I was just soo happy.. to be so close to him.. it was soo amazing! A dream had come true! He looked amazing.. and he was soo GORGEOUS close up!! WOW! He signed my FC album, my programme and a flyer.. with MY name! My mum went into the queue because i was in so much tears.. i came behind her.. and gave Will his pressie 'Happy Birthday Will' he replied with 'Thankyou very much' .. i managed to say Happy Birthday through my crying and happiness..i then went up to get my flyer signed.. 'i demand you stop crying as you will start me off' Will said! he actually spoke to mee!! he put his arm around me and i gave him a KISS! then i said 'Thankyouuu so much Willl' He had to rush as he had guests at the back.. so it was only quickly.. he said he had to hurry up.. as he had people waiting for him! Hope he had a lovely time! He was just so kind! He asked for my name so he could sign my things! OMG it was soo unbelieveable! I'm still on cloud 9.. and i can't get my head around it! Was in tears all last night and this morning... as i just can't believe it! I've met Will!! I am soo happy! the fans that waited for Will were all so lovely too! Thankyou so much! I thought Will was absolutely gorgeous in pics.. but then in real life.. i just can't put it into words how gorgeous he is! I LOVE him soo much! Was so lovely meeting him on his Birthday! I can't describe the experience .. was absolutely amazing! the feeling was undescribeable! January 21, 200718 yr One of the girls on Devoted said she thought he could have shown his anger a bit more by moving his arms about and stomping but I thought maybe that was probably how Will himself would react when angry - remaining quite calm but inwardly seething. Mary on D replied with this... There are a couple of lines in that scene where he says to his mother "I'm straning every nerve to keep myself under control"....and "keep calm, it's our only chance, keep calm" I think Nicky's rage is boiling inside him but as usual the stiff upper lip reserve is present. I think if he had moved about a lot it would have been overacting. It's far harder to play emotion and rage by being still I went yesterday and I'm copying my post over - sorry for being lazy but I can't think of any other words to describe my feelings. Now having seen it for myself I know I was right. As you point out those are the things he is trying hard to keep under tight rein. Loved the interaction with his father - that look when Nicky kisses him in greeting and then when they are alone - trying to be tactile but just not quite succeeding. For a debut role I think he is outstanding. I saw the matinee performance and because there was so much going on each person revolving in their own little world it was hard to take in everything. We were seated across the stage from the piano in D row stage level but were on the first level in B right above the piano for the evening performance. I'm so pleased I decided to take in both because I enjoyed the second so much more - being above the action and able to take everything in. I felt drained after - so much emotion in all of them - so much desperate gaiety to hide torment. He has so much to offer - but I still want to hear him sing. We were playing him on the way home and I felt quite emotional - having seen him but not heard his beautiful singing felt very strange. P.S.
