Thanks for bringing over the latest reviews munchkin.

I'm sure we'll be supporting Will in many more acting ventures. :D

Loved your account of meeting Will Dot. I bet it's a day you'll never forget.

Thanks Dot. I'm so chuffed for all the peeps able to meet with Will. It's not something that can be done on tour he is usually whisked away. He's so much more relaxed at the theatre and more than happy to meet and sign.

They don't seem to like the play but praise Will's performance.

I went to see it last night, I wont even attempt to review it [hopeless at expressing myself] I absolutely loved it, I was not expecting to enjoy as much as I did :yahoo: Will was superb, at the interval I turned to my hubby to see what he thought and the look on his face said it all  he said Will did not stand out in the play as being the amateur, that he acted to the same level as the rest of the cast, he wanted to go back tonight...but alas it is sold out...

I was so proud of Will http://bestsmileys.com/clapping/2.gif

So pleased you enjoyed last night BYm+m's, and just as importantly so did your hubby. Were you able to meet or see Will after the performance?

No he did not come out, the lady who played his mother popped her head out the stage door and I could see Will through the window on the door, then she spoke to Will, I overheard the security guard say to someone that they had gone out of the door that leads straight to the street.

Oh that's a shame  - perhaps another time if you're going again.

So happy to hear Will even exceeded your expectations BYM&M's & that hubby was equally impressed. :cheer:

Just read on Devoted it's from the Thameside 'Advertiser', a local free paper. They sure love him in Manchester.

Fab post by Val on Devoted. :cheer:

Just returned from Manchester after seeing The Vortex for the first time last night, It was wonderful and I was so impressed that Will looked like he had been doing this for years. My nieces came with me and they too enjoyed it enormously. It was interesting listening to the people sitting behind me. They were "normals" who had some acting or theatre connection from the way they were speaking. They said how good MHP was and how much they enjoyed it and went on to say "what a good fist "Will was making of Nicky. I think they were known to one of the women actors. There was a reference to Pop Idol mentioning Gareth that although he had received the early attention it was right that the one with the real talent had won and would undoubtedly continue to have a good career. I don't usually listen to other people's conversations but made an exception here! I was very happy to see this trend that audiences are enjoying or valuing the performance and the theare is getting lots of very eager "bum on seats". Critics like QL are an irrelevance they are so at variance with the responses of the audience.I felt very, very proud. The last scene was very powerful I was unconsciously holding my breath - there was real tension in the audience with everyone completely focussed on Nicky and Florence - totally spellbinding. I look forward to going again and managed to get three more tickets , but there doesn't seem to be much left, two of my seats are up in the gallery but it will be interesting to see other perspectives. Last night was sold out.

It was lovely to meet Mary W and Young4ever when leaving the Travelodge, then when we were having a meal and after the show. Devotees are such lovely people. It was also great to meet Melle on her birthday. Although we managed to get an autograph from Nicky's father, David Peart, unfortunately Will had left by another door earlier. David did say when asked for his signature,"I'm not Will Young you know." We had noticed!!! I hope Mary and Jeanette managed to get Will's signature at this afternoon's performance. I live in hope!

Val x

aww..bless David.. :D and don't you love it when the normals enjoy him? :yahoo:
