Feels like Xmas has come early with all these little presents. :D :D

It must be so refreshing for Will to be posed interesting questions instead of the inane trivia he is so often presented with. Would love to more about this show he has in mind. B)

Thanks so much for bringing over the pics and text. Really enjoyed that.

But the thing that stood out for me, more than anything else, was when the interviewer said "Believe it or not that song (LRN) is close to four years old now and Young himself has been around for half a decade". Is it really that long, and such a lot packed into it - I know it's true, but it seems like only yesterday when Ant said "And the winner is............". What a journey.

I noticed that bit too. Somehow half a decade seems longer than five years - have no idea why but it does :D

I haven't even read the text from the interview yet, I'll read it after I've had a good old look at these lush pics, isn't he just a beautiful man?

Well that's what I call an interview, it sounds like both Will and the interviewer were very much on the same wavelength, another two albums as well. :D I'm sure Will is going to be just fine in this play.

The assistant editor has just posted this on the O/S

Thanks to everybody for your positive comments. I've passed them on to Liz Thomas, who interviewed Will, and she's delighted that you like it!

Less delighted that someone assumed she was a guy, mind you...

As regards availability, The Stage is stocked in most WH Smiths around the UK. By the sounds of things, though, you may have to rush -- especially if fans are buying multiple copies!

Thanks for bringing that over.

What us fans buying multiple copies never! Bet they've never sold as many copies.

Hope my local Smiths has one this afternoon.

Thanks BYM&Ms .It's good to have these comments - got my copy this morning. :cheer:

Thanks for the link Munchkin  - I wasn't able to get a copy. :(

Chrysalis if you want the real thing - this was posted on O/S:

Hi everyone,

Hope you've been enjoying the issue!

The next issue of the paper is going out to newsagents as we speak -- it will already be in some London shops -- so getting hold of the Will issue will be nearly impossible through newsagents if you haven't already managed it.

I've had a word with our managing director, and she's going to try and get hold of some 'depot stocks' -- which I understand is the industry lingo for the issues that get returned to the wholesalers if they haven't been sold. Normally, it's cheaper just for the wholesalers to recycle them, but we're going to try and get more returned to us so that we can ensure we have enough back issue stocks for those that want them.

If you want to order back issues, you can do that direct from us -- but I'll have to let you know how to do that later; due to the holiday period, not as many people are in the office as usual and I don't want to give you any duff information!

If he updates and you can't get onto O/S or D I'll keep you posted.

Update:

Okay everyone, I've now checked the official information for ordering back issues:

By post

You will need to send a cheque for £2.00 (inc p&p), payable to The Stage Newspaper Limited, to:

The Stage

47 Bermondsey Street

London

SE1 3XT

Be careful to include details of the copy you want (e.g., "December 21, 2006 with the Will Young interview") -- plus, of course, your own address. Orders will be fulfilled on a first come first served basis -- as I said before, we're trying to ensure our back issue stocks are higher for this issue but they'll run out at some point! Naturally we'll only cash cheques for orders we can fulfil.

In person

Back issues can also be purchased from our office reception, which is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday (except next Monday, New Year's Day -- we'll all have NYE hangovers!). The address is as above -- 47 Bermondsey Street, SE1 3XT (nearest tube is London Bridge).

Naturally, if you're picking up a copy by hand, the cost is just £1.30 as there's no postage involved.

Thanks munchkin for bring it over, wow how lovely and helpful Scott has been
Thanks Munchkin. They're really pulling the stops out and been really helpful. Pity Sony/BMG doesn't have the same mentality!!!!

Just been on D and saw this posted:-

Must see next year

Theatre: Quote:

Having progressed from two-bit talent show winner to multi platinum-selling artist, Will Young will flex his muscles on stage at the Royal Exchange this spring as he takes the lead role of Nicky in the Noel Coward play The Vortex. Only Pete Postlethwaite promises to eclipse his performance this year when he stars at the Exchange in The Tempest in May.

Another update from Rexgirl - looking good :cheer:

Ok well thought I would keep you updated on what I know..

First of all doesn't look like you will be able to buy the production photos unless there is a change of heart. I think it's to do with Will's rights to visual image. We cannot reproduce without permission.

There will be a new poster produced that has his photo on. It's the from the same photo shoot that appeared in 'The Stage' last week.

I think price will be £2.50-£3.00. There should also be some new postcards advertising the production.

The last thing is that there will be an article in 'The Telegraph' next week probably the 3rd Jan.
