So over the course of the next few weeks and months I’ll be counting down my personal top 1,000 hits of the millennium to date. (singles that reached the top 75 in the UK from January 2000 to December 2024).

Glad Coldplay feature despite you not being much of a fan and “Charlie Brown” is great.

Muse would appear rather a lot in my equivalent list, though more for their 00s than 10s work. “Survival” is a great later one though.

“Low” remains Flo Rida’s best song I think - a banger.

“Magic” is very nice though I think I prefer “Real Groove” and “Say Something” from that album.

I had to remind myself of the Zayn track and it still didn’t leave much impression sorry!

Shall also be following this!

 

'Low' is a jam tbh. One I wasn't keen on at that time but can't deny it's an classic of the rap genre.

'Charlie Brown' is a solid Coldplay track and 'Magic' is nice enough.

'Survival' is alright and not keen on 'Like I Would'.
