A man driving at high speed through a Christmas market has killed 5 and injured more than 200, several very seriously almost 8 years to the day of a similar attack in Germany by an Islamist.

The man who committed the attack is a 50 yr old Saudi doctor. His twitter is interesting. He is followed by Tommy Robinson. Has previously tried to help Saudis get asylum in Germany. It appears he is an extreme ex-Muslim who blamed Germans for not protecting people like him. A very unusual motive if it turns out that is the case. I really don’t know how Christmas can ever be safe if terrorism is going to come from all angles like this.
