The Chelsea ace had a wild night out on Saturday celebrating his close pal JERMAINE PENNANT’s 24th birthday. The terrible twosome joined an army of Premiership pals for a boys’ night out in London. And I can’t imagine that feisty Geordie Cheryl will be pleased to hear about their antics — while she was at home laid up after an operation on her foot. Ashley and Jermaine started the night with a spot of culture at a topless bar with pals. After chalking up a hefty bill ogling naked women they moved on to the Rex nightclub near Leicester Square for Jermaine’s official party. Surrounded by scantily clad wannabe glamour models they knocked back champagne and beer till the small hours. DAVID BECKHAM’s sister JOANNE, Spurs star JERMAINE JENAS and West Ham’s CARLTON COLE were all out too. Z-listers including BB1 winner CRAIG PHILLIPS, BB’s SEZER, telly presenter JEFF BRAZIER and DJ TOBY ANSTIS also attended, along with glamour girl LAUREN POPE. But the party didn’t stop there. The lads arranged a rendezvous with a select group of girls outside Harrods in Knightsbridge. After meeting up at the secret destination they drove in convoy to the plush Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington. Ashley and his pals, including DJ MASTERSTEPZ and Pennant, carried on partying on the seventh floor with their new clubbing friends. A source said: “Jermaine and Ashley were in the party mood after good results by their teams earlier in the day. A crowd of girls were hanging around them in Rex and they wanted to carry the party on. “They were very secretive about where they were going because they didn’t want any gatecrashers. “The party at the hotel went on all night. At one point they were told to calm down by management. “In the morning all the lads had breakfast together before heading their separate ways.†It’s fair enough that Jermaine enjoyed his birthday, his Liverpool team had just beaten Watford 3-0. But I’m not so sure about the influence he’s having on Ashley. I find it odd he wouldn’t want to go home to his stunning wife especially after her op. Last week I revealed Cheryl’s mum was staying with them at their North London mansion. Perhaps he was scared of an earbashing from the mother-in-law . . .
