Was it the original 1960's line-up with Peter Green(replaced by Christine Perfect),Mick Fleetwood,John McVie and Jeremy Spencer who had hits with .......................Black magic woman,Albatross,Man of the world and Oh well.

 

Or their late 1970's line-up withMick Fleetwood,John McVie,Christine McVie(Perfect),Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham................with the huge album Rumours, and songs like Go your own way,Don't stop,Dreams,Rhiannon,Big love,Little lies.

 

Must admit to owning both Rumours and Tango in the night.

 

 

undoubtedly their 'peter green' years... then they were cutting edge, inovative and cool... 'green manalishi', 'oh well' , 'man of the world',... excellant!

 

the later (commercially more successfull) line up however will be the most popular as most people want 'nice' 'safe' music... mac epitomised a.o.r
