From Universal's press release when Mayhem was announced

Gaga will debut the third single and accompanying music video from MAYHEM for fans on February 2, airing during a commercial break at the 2025 GRAMMY Awards®. The full tracklist for the album will be revealed at a later date.

Maybe she performs it there as well?

I know we are far from caring about chart positions, but she’s setting herself up to fail here by releasing it on a Sunday :(

It might still be on Friday, the wording can be a bit off and highlight the video. But plenty of music is being released on Sunday/middle of the week these days (like Bad Bunny's album).
I sincerely hope so, or if she releases like a once off audio or something of it and premiere it ALONGSIDE a live performance on the Grammys like she did with Born This Way. Now that would make maximum impact :D
She needs to drop it this Friday and perform it on Sunday + perform DWAS with Bruno! What is her record company thinking?!

I am thinking that the song comes out on Friday, but she will perform it at the Grammys AND the video will air on a commercial break. I guess we'll find out very soon as it's this week already.

I want:

1) Song out on Friday.

2) Performance of it live in the Grammys on Sunday.

3) Video premiered during commercial break in Grammys.

4) Die with a Smile performed with Bruno also in the Grammys.

5) Die with a Smile wins both nominated Grammy awards.

:D

(I’m really not asking for much here)

Is it so difficult to drop it on Friday and perform it on Sunday? Another boycotted single...
I really really hope it's actually released Friday, with the video on Sunday. Otherwise it'd be such a stupid move that could cost it a top 10.
This!!!

But I can see this era being s total flop, except for the Bruno collabs

Even if it isn't, you'll still be claiming it is until the end of time regardless so what's the point?

This!!!

And I can see no one giving a shit about your delusional takes :king:

I kinda have hopes that this single will get better treatment than what Disease had now the albums announced and it has a strong promo slot so even if it does come Sunday it might be more of a hit long running wise.

If it's as short-lived as Disease was, I would take 5 BIG days with all in (video etc.) instead of decent weekend and sloppy weekdays :magic:

That said, Disease has actually had quite good longevity. It just didn't peak very high in streams.

To be fair "Disease" got good treatment, with good playlisting and such release week. It just didn't resonate with people as much. It's managed to trickle stream/sell well though so should go on to do decent streams. Could see it doing 400-500 million on spotify within a couple years (assuming it'll get a nice boost from the album release, currently on 125 million streams and still doing 500k-1 mil streams/day I believe!).

Abracadabra incoming? :magic: :louis3:

Welp... Abracadabra is even harsher than Disease, it's literally gay club music that doesn't resonate with gp... Radio won't play it. It's definitely not the right song to serve as Disease's follow-up. :manson: She can't bet everything on DWAS alone to sell the album.
