I’d be here for a RO deluxe to finish out the era before DL4 but I’ll take any new music at this point.

Personally, this could go either way.

I'm also down for a deluxe edition of Radical Optimism, but if this happens, I would like to see more songs from Kevin Parker and Danny L Harle, solely for consistency, to be included there. That said, based of her social media posts and the collaborators, I'm more inclined to think that Dua is eyeing for a new era instead.

RO Deluxe just doesn't make any sense in all honesty!!!

I'd rather have her move on and give us new era/album by next spring!!!

She should release 1st single first week of January and the album in March!!!

She needs to strike while the iron is warm because a few years is a lifetime in Pop. She could justify a 4 year gap after FN's success but considering the result was RO, taking another 3-4 years for a follow-up would be silly.

If I were her dad management, I'd get a single out for summer and one that sounds completely unexpected and left-field. Most of the criticism I've seen towards RO is how it's not radically different from what we've heard before so she's needs to change that discourse pronto.

I expect it could be mid-late 2026 by the time we hear anything of a next era, especially as she's got the tour to finish.

She really needs to nail it with what comes next though, or I could see it going the same way as Witness.

Full Interview

I just hope she won't take forever to come with DL4.

I think early-mid 2026 it would be the right time, but considering she's still touring, I highly doubt!!!

I’m so ready for new Dua so I really hope it doesn’t take too long. 2026 needs to be her year!

I’m hoping that the next era actually does offer something different. With Radical Optimism I still don’t think the album was that much different from Future Nostalgia!

I think we may get it in 2027 though! She’s been very busy on tour and she’s a perfectionist too! Maybes some collabs in 2026 to feed us before the next era fully launches.

Personally, I think her album should be released sometime in 2027 mainly because she toured last year and this year, but I don't mind if this album is released next year, lol. I guess I need new solo music from her ASAP.

Not sure how reliable this is but a poster on PJ:

My insider told me her new album will pivot back to a familiar sound of her hits, it's mainly warm disco.

She’s also been working with LOSTBOY recently (Padam Padam, IT girl)!

Hopefully DL4 materialises this year because it feels like forever since RO.

I'm not sure how reliable that Pop Justice poster is, so let's see how it turns out though.

Either way, regarding Peter Rycroft (aka. Lostboy), another Pop Justice poster pointed out that they had the opportunity to listen what Dua worked with him around summer of last year and they were relieved that they were waiting to release her album because those tracks weren't that great from these early sessions. However, it seems that there's a direction nowadays.

That said, as much as I want her album to come out this year, I still think it will be out sometime next year. However, I hope they have a better rollout strategy because the one they had for Radical Optimism wasn't the best.

Yeah, I'm torn because I kinda want her to release something but then I also don't want the promo roll out that RO had it aka messy!!!

The only good thing out of RO era, it really was the tour which was impeccable <3

I think she could arguably hold off until Q1 2027 latest for DL4 but RO seems so far away already, I hope she kickstarts the era this summer.

Ngl RO cooled my excitement for future Dua music but I hope the muted reception to it (compared to FN at least) pushes her to push the envelope a bit.
