This is to mitigate lost recorded streams where tracks have been played from the purchased source, and to acknowledge the album meant enough for me to want to buy in the first place, particularly when I may have streamed pre-album release singles to the point I don't play them so much after the album's release meaning they can't count towards the album streams if the album wasn't out at the time of the individual song plays, if that makes sense. As a result of this rule change, and Amazon's lovely Spring deals, Cher's Forever singles compilation, re-enters and jumps to the top of the chart. Expect some toasted dreams to replace her this time next week following the purchase of 13(!) iterations of the new Darkness album, released today!
