Definitely watch at least the original film - it's a classic of anime movies possibly second in importance after only Akira!

I've always heard good things about the Stand Alone Complex anime from the early 00s but never managed to get round to seeing it. As ever with remakes, someone will have to tell me they're a good effort and worth seeing before I prioritise them over the originals.

The anime is officially airing today on Prime.
