April 15Apr 15 Author I'm not very good at predicting the alt faves but I think both Botanikka and Hendinia will be huge contenders for the crown. The former is just glorious pop, easily Debbii's best entry here so far, and the latter is a glorified Rose Gray song so I can see that very being popular indeed!Land of DW is very Måneskin to my ears too?!

Hoping it makes it through SF2!I am shook at Mae Muller making it through the veto, she was on the Eurovision stage two years ago! Cheap! That being said, I’m sure it’ll do very well! I’m also obsessed with that Debbii Dawson song right now… a banger!
April 15Apr 15 What is it with this year and being constantly opposite the people I need in my semi </3Also throwing some hype to Model/Actriz from over there, that's been on 6Music quite a bit and it's another great, chaotic song from them. Enjoy what I know of some of the artists as well x I was sure I'd have the longest entry this month, but I see I was out by 4 minutes...!I've heard the Ting Tings one as well, not quite sure what I expected from them after so long out but it's cool x
April 15Apr 15 Will try and get the YouTube playlists up for this a lil bit later this evening xThinking to do a listenthrough for semi 1 tomorrow There ended up being 4 Persephonia artist recycles in this contest which I think must be a record! And they've all ended up in my semi coincidentally - we love to see Model/Actriz and Momma both making their second appearances, plus Beth Ditto making her second as a solo artist (third including a Gossip entry) + Minuit Machine making a third *.* Will be watching all of their results with great intrigue xThink there are only 3 songs that I've already heard (unless there are some others that were in PJSC that I've forgotten about which is often the case) and I like all of those 3, gotta give the early hype to Burial again tho obvz.edit: checked and there are another 2 songs I've heard from PJSC (4 songs in total that have been in PJSC before, plus 2 that are in the current contest there as well) but I didn't rate either of them so will see if they make more impression now x

April 15Apr 15 After a first medal from Bronzil last time out, Bøtanikkä clearly want more - that song has been top of my personal chart for the last 5 weeks!! I might have considered it myself but thought it a bit soon after the last Debbii one, my loss I guess - it is a fantastic pop tune and will surely be one of the favourites to win. I also charted the Aeroche and Macromia entries and recognise many others.Multiple SF1 appearances in the same year for the first time already (either side of an AQ too), the SF2 alliance is officially over. Would be happy with a Semi 1 listenthrough tomorrow!

April 15Apr 15 Love how so many of us went for throwback previously well-established artists this time I thought it might be just me with the Ting Tings (who have switched to Fleetwood Mac-esque soft rock, talk about left field!) but no, we have M0, Shakespears Sister (!) and Natalie La Rose as well as Mae Muller.Plenty more I know here too - Oslol, Aesthetica, Hinterlandia, Taahino, Mothertopia and I think FARC!

April 15Apr 15 This contest is like a who’s who of viral internet pop hits of the last couple of months! Going to be a tough battle for the win.I did expect Breakaway to show up, and I’m sure it’ll be top five. It’s a great sound for Mae.
