I think Mbeumo would be a good signing, him and Cunha could possibly bounce off each other a bit similar to Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke. After how last season turned out even the smallest of steps woul

Brentford striker Yoane Wissa is hoping Newcastle have not given up on signing him.

It’s understood Newcastle still want to do a deal but are looking at other options as Brentford insist Wissa is not for sale - especially after losing Bryan Mbeumo, Christian Norgaard and head coach Thomas Frank.

Chelsea have agreed a deal worth up to €50m (£43.7m) with Al Nassr for Joao Felix.

The deal is made up of an initial fee of €30m (£26.2m) and further (€20m) £17.5m in potential add-ons.

The Gibbs-White new contract has to be the funniest story of the window so far. Spurs being Spurs 🤣 Reckon that release clause will be about £80m.

Must be weird for a player to be with the group on tour and then be told that you have to go to Germany

James Trafford is set to begin his Manchester City medical today ahead of a move from Burnley.

City have agreed a deal with Burnley that will see them pay £27m to re-sign the goalkeeper, who came through their academy.

The deal agreed with Burnley was worth around £31m plus add-ons, but the price has been reduced for City due to a sell-on clause they inserted in Trafford's contract.

Chelsea are closing in on a deal to sign Ajax defender Jorrel Hato, according to The Athletic.

The report suggests while, an agreement is yet to be reached between the two clubs, the two clubs are expected to compromise on a deal worth above €40m (£35m) for the 19-year-old.

However, it is said that personal terms are in place between Hato and Chelsea.

Hato requested not to be included in Ajax's squad for the Como Cup final on Sunday.

The Hato bid makes sense I think, certainly way more than Xavi Simons. He’ll essentially be a backup left back for Cucerella. Think he probably needs another season playing regularly myself from what I have seen.. but Chelsea seem to go early on these types of young players.

Sunderland have agreed a fee with Bayer Leverkusen for Granit Xhaka.

Sky Sports News understand the fee is in the region of £17m, costing Sunderland an initial £13m + £4m in add-ons.

Sky Sports News reported Sunderland had agreed personal terms with the former Arsenal man.

Newcastle are in talks with Southampton over the signing of goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The deal under discussion is for a loan with an option to buy. Personal terms are not expected to be a problem.

There has been no official bid for Ramsdale at this stage.

Newcastle looked into the possibility of signing Ramsdale from Arsenal last summer before he joined Southampton, however a fee could not be agreed.

Everton are in advanced talks with Bayern Munich over the signing of teenage left-back Adam Aznou.

Discussions between the clubs have progressed over the past few days.
