Andrew said he'd text and tell us how everything went but as yet he hasn't, so I'll drop him a line asap and see what's going on maybe. :)

Okay so as soon as I posted that, Andrew did text!

 

Apparently they've got into the gig and Lucie was reading the guestlist yesterday saying 'THERE'S NO ONE I KNOW'. :lol: Bless her, glad they will get to see the gig! :cheer:

just thought i'd say.. just gotta call from daz.. lu has managed to pull some strings & get andrewy & daz in for tonight :) so we shall be hearing about it later YAY!! when they spoke to lu, apparently she said she doesn't know anyone who's coming & she's REALLY shocked none of us forumers won.. daz was saying how i didnt win, caz didnt, smaaa didnt, nat didnt... hehe! so yes, lu's as surprised as we all are! x

I too am shocked none of us won, my day was totally unproductive and would have been far better spent at a Lucie gig. :lol:

I am gutted, I'll be honest I would have done pretty much anything in my power to get there if I had a ticket and could guarantee the trip would have been worthwhile.

 

But anyway I am pleased we appear to have this spiritual thing going on, it's mind bogglingly amazing of us! :o

Bless Lucie not knowing anyone, it's great to hear that she does the same kinds thing with her 'regulars' as Dan does. love it.

Literally replied within 5 minutes, Mercury just probably called whoever rather than first 50... They seem to do things like that...

 

Glad Andrewy and Daz will see the show, especially seeing as Andrew missed the last album launch gig.

 

And ha the the Lucie regulars things, Lucie probably spys out or names and thinks 'fab' but I can see security/Mercury like 'nooo they will distract Lucie and ruin our time schedule because the are annoyingly well travelled'. Reminds me of Birmingham 'Lucie walk this way, we have to go, Lucie this way'. *Lucie walks in opposite direction for more hugs* *Lucie's minder glares at us all*.

 

I'm jealous of you though Su, having met Dan so much! He was my first celebrity crush - well one of the first of many anyway... :lol:

haha ur stories of lucie going towards u instead of other way just reminds me so much of times with Dan.

I love how, even though it's different artists, it's kinda the same thing. Also good to know that others are having just as much fun :yahoo:

& yeah su, it sounds smiliar from what uv said about mr bedingfield! it's so nice when u feel so appreciated by her... after the heart FM gig, she said it was extra spesh cos we had been there... :) just the things shes said/done make everything SO worthwhile :) we've been doing it for such a long time now too!! i wouldn't change it for the world! none of these years & endless trips & stuff hehe! MORE TO COME PLEASE!! x

I totally wouldn't change any of our trips or early starts and ridiculously long journeys for the world. It's been an amazing 2 years for me and I hope it long continues.

exactlee. i think also, only people who have done it/currently do it i.e. follow acts and have that special kinda relationship can understand.

for me it's been almost 4 years (in march) and i wouldnt change it for the world. i actually feel sad to have no gigs to see him at.
