What on earth makes you think that Darius fans are fans because he was in reality TV ? It is even more crass to insinuate that we are some kind of reality TV junkies who have no taste in music and only vote for what's shoved down our throats on reality shows.

 

If that was all there was to the man, we would have dumped him when the next Wunderkind came along.

 

He has better musical credentials than just about any other Pop/Rock singer. Can you name another who has sung professionally in Opera, a National Orchestra's chorus and in the West End? He has academic qualifications in music and plays piano, violin and saxophone as well as guitar.

 

Ignorance is at the root when people blurt out rubbish against Darius and insult the intelligence of his fans!

I have got to say, I have never watched or voted in any tv talent show, other than for Darius - I only watched PI due to him after seeing him in PS! I have never even held a passing thought for any other of those contestants! Darius always was something different

I enjoy all sorts of music.... :o I the Beatles, David Bowie just like you :o 'fraid I can't say the same about Kate Bush...although my husband has a thing for her....

 

I see you have voted for Will Young, David Snedden, Sinead Quinn...

 

Just like you...if I like a song I will vote for it....not like some, voting to stop another winning...

I have watched odd programmes never the full serries, never been that interested

 

....but I did vote for James Fox once or twice :D

 

...but Darius has always had the X factor for me :D

I have never been remotely interested in any other artiste ever, how sad am I, but he has the voice personality, charisma and looks rolled into one and now the acting ability also. and I go back a long way through matinee idols, pop stars, stage stars and loads of musicals, nothing has appealed in the past.

I sit and watch these reality talent shows, in the hope of finding someone who interests me half as much as D does. If I could find anyone who actually pulled it off, I would be a fan of theirs too :) So far, no-one else has come close, but I will still keep an eye out just in case :)
