19 hours ago19 hr Author I watched this in the cinemas today and was totally blown away. It is Pixar at some of its finest. I won't spoiler too much but I heard online that the titular character has traits of autism / ASD and so I went in with this in mind. Doing so made this film immensely powerful and heart-warming especially as a teacher of many neuro-divergent children and trying to understand my own diversity. It was done in such a way that I imagine a lot of neuro-diverse people would see themselves in Elio but it wasn't made explicit or labelled and instead proved how beautiful our neuro-diversity is! And many would watch without seeing that take on the character and it's still a wonderful film without it!It is a beautiful film with some of Pixar's best animations, it's incredibly emotional but funny too. A must watch imo and a brilliant addition to Pixar's already amazing collection.❤️
