Blue squares? Anyway, it is not random! Anyone who likes the Smiths needs to like all the bands that have been influenced by them!

lol, every band claims the Smiths influenced them, i'd be listening to 2023473 bands :o!

But Interpol is really reallly realllly good! Yes, I realize that all bands claim that they were in some way influenced by Moz, but really. Interpol really was. They sound very much like Joy Division. It would make me extremely happy if you downloaded (and listened) to their stuff!! :D

I have heard Antics a few times, they are nice, but are far from being one of the best bands of our time. -_-

And yes, every band has been influenced by The Smiths, everything. It's funny that a friend of mine said that today, he just said that to se my reaction though. While writing this I thought of this foto:

A guy who was influenced by the Smiths and has one of my favourite albuns of all times is Jeff Buckley with his album Grace, the only one he released while alive. :cry: He once said:

 

"The Smiths hasn't been equalled. That goes for the composition of the songs, the lyrics and the performance. What Johnny Marr and he (Morrissey) did was fabulous, nobody can beat that. If I'd ever start a rock band, I'd want to approximate that level."

 

If you don't know this album, you shoud give it a go. It's, probably, the most beautiful album I have ever heard.

I like the "There is a Light that never goes out" but I'd want it smaller...I like the script as well. And I'd want it on my lower back. It would really suck if like, the guy accidentally made two of the words uneven or something.

How would you go about doing that? :P
