Curious if anyone not following the franchise is also planning to watch the movie this September (I'll be there a month earlier!), as it will be a sequel to the TV series and not a standalone. thinking

Glad I'm still young enough to enjoy the KnY saga for both the animations and the story until now, especially since it's been acclaimed as the most overrated anime of all time. lol

Super stoked to see this next month, as the movie starts airing today in Japan. Seen many videos of Japanese people lining up SINCE 2AM local time! I've read the manga up to this part already, but I'm still extremely encouraged to do ticket wars! lol

Don't think it will defeat Ne Zha 2's box office sales, but this will definitely blow up worldwide, too, despite being the franchise's 6th sequel.

Smh, think I'm not getting the Day 1 ticket. 😭

Edit: I've secured one actually. Hoping nothing big irl happens.

Like demon slayer is a good name, as Buffy fought demons a lot too, so K guess the new title works

Though I'm not one of them, I'm quite confident many people will consider this overrated, and I won't argue.

This is fantastic but also popcorn at the same time. Animations are certainly the franchise's best. My major issue would be the fact that they converted two volumes of the manga (17 chapters; each is around 22-25 pages) into a 2:35-hour movie. It's quite brave, I guess. While I read the manga first and enjoyed the entire movie, I am concerned that viewers who only watch anime may find it a bit slow and feel sleepy.

I wanted to put a spoiler tag for this, but I couldn't, so better watch for yourself!

Anyway, the LiSA and Aimer songs are fantastic. For the love of myself, please send them to BJSC (cuz i won't! kink)
