Congratulations to Trinix who are the latest act to reach #1 with their debut hit, following on from Vendredi Sur Mer earlier in the month. Both acts much-assisted by French pianist Sofiane Pamart, who now has his third #1.

Last week it was congrats to Gareth Emery who scored his 10th #1 with 'Out of the Sky', which continues his run of having a #1 hit in every year of the 2020s so far. It is the second of these to guest vocals from Annabel and the first credited to his LSR/CITY project.

Oliver Heldens gave the trance classic 'The Orange Theme' by Cygnus X a modern update under his Hi-Lo alias, which last week became his first top 10 hit in two years.

Taken as the focus track from Shouse's debut album 'Only You' became their 7th top 10 hit on impact - a figure that includes four #1s, 'Call My Name' being the most recent from earlier in the year. It is the first hit for guest performers/fellow Australians Cub Sport.

A debut hit for classical duo Arkai, who have covered 'The Sound of Silence', enters the top 10 in its second week. Although, I had already heard their version of this pre-release when they supported pianist Tony Ann in concert!

Where Gareth Emery impacts his good mate Ashley Wallbridge is never far behind and indeed he gets another top 10 hit of his own this week with a long-anticipated collab with Christina Novelli.
