Posted August 9Aug 9 3rd August 2025It's a Loaded Honey loaded chart as Tokyo Rain goes back up to the top spot after 2 weeks away from, getting a 2nd week, and a record for Loaded Honey as they replace themselves at 1 for the 3rd time in 3 consecutive weeks. That's a first with a hat-trick of tracks. I just bought the new album so there are more new entries down the lower end of the chart: Really Love at 67, Lessons at 72, and Cisco Bay at 84. It's a great mood album. Miley Cyrus almost gets to add to her growing list of number ones, but for the mo the very exciting 80's-synth sounding Walk Of Fame is up to 2, her second number 2 of 2025. I first walked the Walk Of Fame in LA in August 1979 and we got free tickets to see a recording of The Match Game featuring stars of the day, most famously Marcia Wallace, Mrs Krabappel in The Simpsons. I just found it on youtube, only 46 years waiting to see it on TV! Miles Kane has another chart entry after a short break since his biggie in my charts with Corinne Bailey Rae, and this time he's invoking the ghost of Marc Bolan - Electric Flower really could have come straight off T.Rex's 1971 great album Electric Warrior. Nice video too, at 78. Sam Ryder makes it 3 quick 2025 tracks charting in a row with The Feeling Never Went Away replacing Oh OK, and there is a mini Take That invasion as both Robbie Williams and Gary Barlow enter with new tracks to join Robbie's other still-charting Rocket. Spies is new one, but Rob is def singing Old Spice not the supposed All Spies the lyric sheets claim. Jon Batiste is back with a welcome feature from the veteran Randy Newman who still has a great Blues-ey voice for a very Blues-sounding sparse track. Golden I enjoy but it's not made my charts as too much stuff that is even better, though one from my holiday that hasnt charted yet is entering very late 😄thanks for the comments! 😎

Never did get a copy of that in any format, so now I have a Spanish edition, hooray. Thanks for the picks and yes totally agree about Miley, it's bizarre that she was massive 2 years ago and now isn't when there hasnt been any drop in quality. Then again, her best album tracks are often not dropped as singles early on in the album release period and they slip by un-noticed. Thanks as ever for the large list and comments! ❤️cheers! 😎
