Posted January 21, 200718 yr ...I bought the "Ringleader of the Tormentors" edition with the dvd and the dvd had nothing interesting on it. I paid some euros more because I thought it had interesting things, it didn't. <_< It's not his fault I know. :P What about you? When has Morrissey let you down?
January 21, 200718 yr Author lol, yeah... There was another time. In the concert where I saw him he left in the middle of "panic". In the newspaper the next day they said that someone had said something to him, portuguese newspaper really like to invent. But a few weeks later I heard that he sometimes does that and I'm sure it has a Morrissey explanation but I really wanted to sing the chorus. I like to think it was because he couldn't bare to see all those people singing a Smiths' song. :)
January 21, 200718 yr He let me down with his rather ill-advised flirtation with Nationalism and his use of the Union Jack and NF/BNP imagery in the early 90s... And he never really did adequately explain what he was getting at when he did songs like "National Front Disco" and "Bengali In Platforms".... This was when the NME really was good at their job ands had very good journalists, and they seriously interrogated him on it, and he just didn't seem to have an answer for them... That was when I felt really disappointed in him, but I think even he gets embarrassed when he thinks about those days...

January 22, 200718 yr I think he just wanted to provoke a reaction in people. I hope... I reckon that's ultimately all it was.. But it really was seriously touch and go for a while... The fact that he didn't really explain himself too well certainly didn't help things either...
