Second single from the collaborative efforts of Damon Albarn (Blur/Gorillaz), Paul Simonon (The Clash), Tony Allen (Africa 70 / Fela Kuti) and Simon Tong (The Verve), 'Kingdom of Doom', a hymn to a twilit London, is a study in melodic melancholy; beautiful, insistent and affecting. 'Kingdom Of Doom' is taken from The Good, The Bad And The Queen's debut eponymous album. - HMV

Ooh, ok thanks B) ^_^

Didn't manage to catch it charting in the top 40, but i've heard it before anyway. S'alright, I suppose ^_^

Quite a collection of musicians there :o

Does this project mean that Gorillaz are finished, for at least now?

I think Gorillaz are on hiatus. Both Damon & Jamie Hewlett are currently working a stage show called "Monkey: Journey To The West" which will be on in Manchester this summer - thats what Wikipedia's page on Damon says anyway.

I don't know whether to buy this album or not

Hope it can be #1 over The View but I doubt it -_-

I haven't heard anything from these that has excited me yet :(

THE ALBUM IS #2 IN THE MIDWEEKS and i think isnt to far behind th eview who are number 1

It is indeed, however, it its WAY behind The View. It could easily fall to 3 by Sunday.

This is a really good song
