Posted September 26Sep 26 P is for Perfect Day.Two tracks titled 'Perfect Day' were released at polar ends of the 00s with very different soundscapes to one another. Kelis was first to release her funk-inspired 'Perfect Day' as part of her pre-mainstream second album Wanderland in the autumn of 2001. Fast forward 8 years and German Eurodance group Cascada released their very own 'Perfect Day', released as the fifth and final single from their album of the same name in March 2009, yet failed to make much of an impact. But which is your favourite 'Perfect Day'?Soundclash: Noughties Namesakes history:A is for All I Ever Wanted (Basshunter vs Kelly Clarkson)B is for Baby Boy (Big Brovaz vs Beyoncé & Sean Paul)C is for Call My Name (Prince vs Charlotte Church)D is for Don't Tell Me (Madonna vs Avril Lavigne)E is for Emergency (Paramore vs Jordin Sparks)F is for Free Me (Emma Bunton vs Joss Stone)G is for Gravity (Sara Bareilles vs Pixie Lott)H is for Hey Baby (DJ Otzi vs No Doubt)I is for I Turn To You (Christina Aguilera vs Melanie C)J is for Jump (Girls Aloud vs Madonna)K is for Kids (Robbie Williams & Kylie Minogue vs MGMT)L is for Lately (Samantha Mumba vs Lisa Scott-Lee)M is for Miss Independent (Kelly Clarkson vs Ne-Yo)N is for Nasty Girl (The Notorious B.I.G. vs Destiny's Child)O is for Over and Over (Nelly & Tim McGraw vs Hot Chip)
September 28Sep 28 Cascada. Justice for the album of the same name (apart from the Avril and Pink covers).
September 28Sep 28 Never heard that Kelis song before, but I'm going with it. I like the rocky edge!Cascada's is just more of the same as so many of their tracks.
