T is for Thank You.

Both Dido and Jamelia enjoyed top 3 chart success with a song titled 'Thank You' in the early 00s. Dido's track came first, initially released as an album track on her 1999 debut album No Angel, before later being sampled on Eminem's iconic 'Stan' and the rest was history! The song was serviced as a single and peaked at #3 both in the UK and the US, firmly establishing Dido as an artist in her own right.

Over three years later and another British girlie released her 'Thank You': Jamelia had just had the biggest hit of her career in the form of 'Superstar' and decided to follow it up with an R&B midtempo, lyrically reminiscent of Christina Aguilera's 'Fighter'. This proved successful, giving Jamelia her highest-charting hit of her career, peaking at #2, which I don't think she has ever bettered. #JusticeforBewareOfTheDog
