New rule for purchased new (issued within the last 12 months) albums. They receive a bonus number of streaming points for the purchase week only, equal to the number of unique tracks/versions on the album. Eg. Frankie’s 162 different tracks/mixes on their current #1 added 162 streaming points to this week's tally only, while Soft Cell add 67 points to their tally. These extra points will not be added to next week’s tally despite the week still being within the 4-week overall stream tracking period. This rule replaces that where any purchased new album automatically went to the top for that week regardless of streams, as realistically I probably won't play the hard copy when I have streaming available, but the rule covers the one-off play I may give it that will stop the album getting that playthrough’s streaming points. If the above didn't apply, Hard Ware would have been #1 due to being the most streamed album for the tracking period.
