W is for Work.

Two ladies of Pop/R&B released a single titled 'Work' in the late 00s to varying degrees of success. Kelly Rowland's Work, thankfully remixed by the Freemasons, earned her another top 5 hit in January 2008: her biggest UK hit as a lead artist at that point in terms of longevity.

Ciara dropped her own Work just over a year later, serving as the follow-up to top 5 smash Love Sex Magic, and the third single from her third album Fantasy Ride. The song failed to set the charts alight, peaking at a rather dismal 52. While the song has been praised as one of the albums standouts and is a fan-fave to some degree, it has also been criticised for being too similar to previous Ciara/Missy Elliot tracks.
