Has 42k last year in the next week (that had more of December so that should favor them) therefore I think next week could be a nice 3 way fight between Taylor, Wham & RayeWham! this week are down 17.5% year on year. If they do the same next week, they will be on 35k. Part of the drop is because the week is one day earlier in the month than last year.Next week’s sales are likely to be down even more than 17.5% I imagine because there will be one fewer December day in the week than last year - and crucially it’s a weekend day.So ‘Last Christmas’ is likely to be number 3.Olivia’s track is in decline - and is likely to decline further - amongst the Christmas tracks - so I would be surprised if ’Last Christmas’ is not ahead of all of Olivia‘s tracks, as my lowest estimate for ‘Last Christmas’ would be at least 30k.So I’m going to say next week:1) Taylor2) RAYE3) Wham!4) Mariah5) A song by Olivia Edited Saturday at 00:113 days by GreyAsh
Saturday at 10:542 days Even though she has been No.1 on both charts, Olivia really has been unfortunate timing wise. Surprised they haven’t manually reset Man I Need to be honest. The album has also held up really well too, again it would have been no.1 most weeks earlier this year (probably should have been the last two weeks). I’d imagine it will get there again at some point, I think the Brit awards will be a big boost for her when that rolls round.

Strange he specifically called it out when it’s quite easily verifiable that Olly did have a greatest hits album, albeit released alongside a new one.
Saturday at 11:412 days Good job Now 122 wasn’t released a week later otherwise it would have stalled at number 3 or number 4 Edited Saturday at 11:422 days by Hadji

It probably won’t get to #1 this year but could be getting into a good position for the 1st week of January.Would Man I Need have a chance of returning to number 1 in the New Year, it being the biggest song without ACR?Sorry for my ignorance but I really can’t get my head around the rules around resetting for songs after Christmas, so if anyone could give a ‘simple’ explanation I’d be grateful!😆
Saturday at 16:552 days man I need is unlikely to be granted a reset after new years as it’s already been hit by acr for a good few weeks the general rule is anything hit by acr in december gets reset, so we’ll probably get taylor swift reset back to number one
Saturday at 17:002 days Yeah it be like an ed sheeran Adele situation where Adele got the number 1 because of the reset but Ed was the actual biggest song that week and he wasnt eligible
Saturday at 17:042 days But my point was that if the current trend continues, and obviously we can’t be sure it will, “Where Is My Husband!” will be outperforming “Ophelia” in 5 weeks.

Saturday at 18:492 days Not saying it will be Ophealia but people are acting like WIMH isnt on its own downwards trajectory whos to say it won't be something like Haven thats currently flying up spotify 🤷♂️
Saturday at 23:582 days For the record:Alan Jones didn't give a sales figure for Mariah Carey at number 13 , but our usually reliable friend on twitter has said that All I Want for Christmas Is You had sales of 17,842 last week.

Maybe not such a worthwhile endeavour taking the Yearbooks back to the 1960s. Or perhaps doing them as individual years would have worked out better.

Hopefully Now 123 ends up at number 1 as I don’t think there’ll be soundtracks standing in the way and I can’t see Wicked For Good holding on until April
8 hours ago8 hr Wonder if KDH will reclaim the top of the compilation charts with WFG physicals out of the way , the songs seem to be holding better on streaming
