Kelly Clarkson in NASCAR deal

 

Kelly Clarkson has signed a deal with NASCAR that will have her image "integrated into all aspects of NASCAR", including television spots, charitable events and NASCAR's annual awards dinner.

The deal will commence with Clarkson headlining the Nextel Tribute to America concert that will air just before the Daytona 500 in Florida on Feb 18.

 

"Anyone who knows me knows I'm a race fan and love NASCAR," Clarkson said. "I look forward to hanging out with the fans, drivers and the entire NASCAR community."

 

 

 

Good a nice opportunity to get her music promoted, quite the different outlet if you ask me.

Definately, a great outlet for her to promote herself.

With a new album coming out she will need all the promotion she can get.

I knew I recognised NASCAR from somewhere - 'Talledega Nights' :o :lol:

And I was expecting lots of what is NASCAR etc!
