Imagine Kylie being Xmas No. 1 this year

I haven’t checked - but have you remixed it yet?

Amazon not having a delay in reporting data could really benefit Kylie for the 26th December chart, given Spotify and Apple won't have reported Christmas Day (Thursday) data in time and therefore all other songs will be under-reported...

I didn’t really think of that!

Sienna Spiro dropped 9 places today from 11 to 20 - swamped by all the Christmas songs.

I hope she has a good boost in the new year, including critics choice brit award/brit performance and successful album.

I see Tom Grennan was below Brenda Lee last year, climbed to 9 on Monday, fell to 25 by Friday, was 4 in the Christmas Chart, and 3 in the chart covering the Christmas period.

All this bodes well for Kylie, who is above Brenda Lee, will have loads of fans lapping up the physicals and downloads, and may benefit from Christmas Day streaming delays from Spotify/Apple.

I’d say top 5 is almost certain - and it should equal the peak of ‘All The Lovers’ (3, 2010) - her last top 5 hit.

I’m still hoping for top 2 and maybe even Number 1!

Another big boost fir the subway more vinyls ?

15,000 were released (globally) for Black Friday Record Store Day.

I haven't heard it yet but I dislike last Christmas by wham (I kind of like covers of it) so much I hope she can beat them

Seeing as we had a rage against X factor campaign in 2009, I’d love to see a rage against wham campaign

Id love a peppa pig vs wham campaign battle of the last christmas , wham vs ham, 🤣

It will be on the 12th - the same time the 3 physicals and video is also released.

Wonder why the video was held back?

To be fair its dominance will end eventually either way, they all come in waves

Would guess they are saving all the heavy promotion (including the video) for Christmas number one week. Pretty smart from the label if they are pushing hard for it!

Yeh forgot the video streams count toward the chart, was thinking old skool that a rotated video pre download release would be good promo!

The vinyl only boosting RMI to number 3 is a bit shocking 😲

Rein Me In was still 20k off the top 2 last week on Friday so prob still too far behind!

Yeah but Sundays first looks are usually very close which suggest it hasn't sold more than a couple of thousand at max 😮

Shame it’ll be back in January 😭 cannot understand how such a bland dull song became so insanely massive

People must have played it to help them fall a sleep.

Billie Piper and Cascada remain my two favourite covers of Last Christmas.

I quite like the Manic Street Preachers one

I haven’t heard that one, I may need to check it out.

Considering how limited the vinyl was that’s not a surprise.
