Stream on Amazon Music as much as possible throughout the week

Buy 1,2 or all 3 physical formats. The CD at 4.99 is the cheapest

Share the video etc on social media and links to the downloads and streaming

Ask Alexa all day long to play XMAS by Kylie

Its important to start from midnight on Friday to maximise everything and keep Kylie high on the updates etc which may encourage others to join in the festive fun

To be fair i think the fans will be doing everything they can and Top 5 almost feels guaranteed by the standard release of amazon singles each year.

I think with Kylie its more can the fans rally up enough support to overcome Wham for the Number 1 spot.

Yes I don’t think the fanbase will be getting excited for a Top 5 as that’s almost a guarantee - also this is totally different from PP which was a natural/surprise hit rather than an Alexa one.

Everyone will start rallying if a #1 looks like a possibility.

Yes very different to padam padam which took off naturally and then as it grew it got pushed.

XMAS is a different release altogether and i think its the fact that it might have a chance of number 1 that will push the fans.

Kylie being #1 on first look is essential to rally everyone around and for her to get media coverage!

I think it's really possible if there's 4/5 downloads available and the physicals for her to be first look 1 and potentially Monday's update number 1 whether she can hold off Wham! depends how crazy the fans go if everyone downloads each version (If there is a good amount of versions) then she could do it but it'll still be a struggle.

Don’t believe so and don’t see it being any different for Kylie tbh.

Sam Ryder had an extra version or possibly 3 (There was an acoustic and extra festive from memory) but only available for download (he did 9,000 downloads)

They would be really silly if they don’t have various mixes / acoustics etc to download it’s the only way Kylie will stand a chance (especially if they’re on her website and Amazon)

I am sure Kylie.com will have them too. I mean they allowed her to sell the physical singles through her store so I guess a download or 2 would be the same.

I expect a download to be available on Friday separate from just finding it on the album.

If with a good push Sam sold 9k Kylie with a good push could equal or better that if they release the different versions.

^^ Sam REALLY went for it - he done constant lives and posts on socials, he was basically online 24/7 and done every bit of promo he could.

He hustled hard for those 9k - not sure Kylie will go as hard but hopefully they have a few things to pull out the bag next week.

Kylie wont hussle as hard but she has a bigger fan base and team to lean on.

Kylie won't hussle I think she's only posted the Amazon link to XMAS once or twice if that, same with the album she's not really pushed the variants at all because she doesn't really need to her team do lots of the leg work and the hard worker in her will happily work for it.

I sound like a broken record but the mass downloads will be more likely if she manages first look number 1 which I think she could do to be honest if the physicals all ship on time, there's a flurry of downloads friday and streaming picks up a little (Obviously it will be frontloaded but the media should start shouting about it)

Same they really need to GO HARD on the multi download, Do a mailer Friday, Radio shows, Kylie needs to advertise the fact it's available for download now..It'll be her only chance to ever get a number one single let alone a Christmas number 1.

Its definitely going to be an interesting 2 weeks to see how far they will really push this.

Radio interviews have been pre-recorded and there are more pre-records happening this week so I think she’ll be everywhere next week.

The strictly performance will also help so hopefully there is enough to keep the album afloat for 2-3 weeks and give XMAS the boost it needs.

I'm ready to download any version of XMAS that drops so get those 10 new mixes out there Kylie!
