In the second chart of 2026, Cast claim the number one with their latest song Free Love. That means Sophie slips to #2 after a week on top. Taylor Swift makes a swift climb to #3 with Opalite, just ahead of Heavy News by Richard Ashcroft at #4. Sigrid slips 2 places to complete this week's top 5. Tom Odell, Blue and Calum Scott all climb into the top 10, whilst Kato, Sabrina and One Republic all climb into the top 20. The highest of 6 new entries is at #23 for Florence & The Machine with Buckle, 1 ahead of James Marriott's 3rd hit California Rain. Swedish singer Agnes makes her debut on this chart (Release Me pre-dates these charts) with her new single Wake Up at #26. Gabrielle Aplin enters at #30 with Start Again, from the forthcoming new edition of her first album English Rain. Jade gets a 3rd entry with Church at #31, much better than her last few for me. 90s band Kula Shaker make a return with Lucky Number at #35.

Helloooo Adele!

It's nice to see opalite climb the ranks again though I can't say I'm finding it amazing anymore. I think I would have gathered a different song as single #2.

Turn the lights off is great of course and I'd love to see this become a massive top 10 single for them, after all this time.

Such a funny way is really good. But better than Tears for me too.

Start again is alright, it's very by the numbers for Gabrielle aplin and not quite as strong as her previous material.

Church is great of course. On glad to see you finally charting it. What a great lead for the deluxe album.

Die on this hill has only really just stuck it's claws in me. It's fantastic.
