January 23, 200718 yr Author He's asexual, meaning likes neither male or female. ^_^ Erhm  is that even possible??? to not feel any attraction at all for any gender??? what if i hot girl lets say jessica alba flirted with him?? would he say no??
January 23, 200718 yr  he would say no, he doesn't even like people when asked if he liked living L.A, he answered ''it's a nice place, aslong as you don't meet people'' ^_^ Edited January 23, 200718 yr by This Charming Man
January 23, 200718 yr Author Wow morrisey seems like a strange person maybe he loooves his privacy Edited January 23, 200718 yr by Dino
January 23, 200718 yr He does indeed. To me, he's normal. He wants a private life. He also said he doesn't answer the phone :P
January 23, 200718 yr Author He does indeed. To me, he's normal. He wants a private life. He also said he doesn't answer the phone :P Whoa now thats crazy lmao!!! i would understand if that came from michael jackson but morrisey whoa!! well i guees you're right he is normal but the paparazzis and the media doesnt really bug him so much like they do pete doherty or michael jackson but oh well whatever makes him happy its good :)
January 23, 200718 yr goto the interviews thread, watch him on Jools Holland in 2004 before his 44th birthday :P He's really nervous but is soooo funny ^_^
January 23, 200718 yr For me he is asexual because he doesn't feel a sexual atraction for either women or men. On the other hand, i believe he is bisexual too because he can love women and men. Morrissey is unique. :) A lot fans invade his privacy too, not only paparazzi. Morrissey has a lot of crazy fans.
January 24, 200718 yr Contrary to his public image, Morrissey actually had a longterm boyfriend called Jake in the early to mid 90s who always toured with him and even took some photos for the album sleeves (check Vauxhall... think he took the back sleeve image). And when Moz lived in Dublin, a very good friend of mine would often see him in the local gay bar with male companions - usually 'rough trade' - street-looking skinhead types. I think it's safe to say that Morrissey isn't the least bit heterosexual - just listen to his lyrics and look at his album sleeves.
January 24, 200718 yr I'm heterosexual and I still feel identified with his lyrics, that's what matters to me. :)
January 25, 200718 yr I think he's bisexual too, he said in Q magazine he isn't celibate anymore, his lyrics in dear god please help me strongly suggest he has been with women. -- "Now I'm spreading your legs with my in between" Edited January 25, 200718 yr by meowza
January 27, 200718 yr I'm kind of upset about him declaring he's no longer celibate. I find it more difficult to relate to Morrissey with each passing day. Anyway, this thread still reminds me of everything I've tried to deny for the longest time. Whoever was shocked about Moz not answering the phone, you make me laugh. I really hope you were being sarcastic. I hide when people come to the door. Sorry, this isn't about me, I know.
January 27, 200718 yr Yes. As a result nobody knows my sexuality. Well, my mother is convinced my best friend and I are conducting a secret lesbian affair.
January 31, 200718 yr I think he's bisexual too, he said in Q magazine he isn't celibate anymore, his lyrics in dear god please help me strongly suggest he has been with women. -- "Now I'm spreading your legs with my in between" I don't think that line strongly suggests he's been with women.... I think that's a tender line... a line about the closeness and intimacy of 2 people together regardless of gender. However, far from being Morrissey's heterosexual song... Dear God Please Help Me is probably his most overtly gay.... "Then he motions to me With his hand on my knee Dear God, did this kind of thing happen to you?" Morrissey's literary heroes, his uber-homo-erotic artwork and his lyrics make it quite clear what his sexual preference is - he was hardly being vague when he wrote Handsome Devil, was he :P All the streets are crammed with things Eager to be held I know what hands are for And i'd like to help myself You ask me the time But i sense something more And i would like to give What i think you're asking for You handsome devil Oh, you handsome devil Let me get my hands On your mammary glands And let me get your head On the conjugal bed I say, i say, i say I crack the whip And you skip But you deserve it You deserve it, deserve it, deserve it A boy in the bush Is worth two in the hand I think i can help you get through your exams Oh, you handsome devil Oh, let me get my hands On your mammary glands And let me get your head On the conjugal bed I say, i say, i say I crack the whip And you skip But you deserve it You deserve it, deserve it, deserve it And when we're in your scholarly room Who will swallow whom ? When we're in your scholarly room Who will swallow whom ? You handsome devil Oh, let me get my hands On your mammary glands And let me get your head On the conjugal bed I say, i say, i say There's more to life than books, you know But not much more Oh, there's more to life than books, you know But not much more, not much more Oh, you handsome devil Oh, you handsome devil Ow !
January 31, 200718 yr Does the expression "hand in gloove" mean anything? It seems to me, a non-native speaking english person, it must be something related to homosexuality because of the song "hand in gloove" and because ha says it after saying "I lost my faith in Womanhood" in the song "pretty girls make graves". This can't be coincidence, certaintly.
January 31, 200718 yr Hand in Glove is an old term... no gay connotations... it just means 2 people who are inseparable.... it could be used romantically, or for friends, or even workmates. Here's a link which gives some more detail: http://www.usingenglish.com/reference/idio...d+in+glove.html Pretty Girls Make Graves is about a confused gay man who refuses the advances of a woman, then is consumed by jealousy when he sees her with another man. A clever song, I think, especially as Morrissey added bits of Hand in Glove into the song as well.
