Good result for Arsenal, especially being 2-0 down. I'm looking forward to the 2nd leg, but i don't think it's over by any means.

We were 2-0 up and could have killed the game by attacking and getting 4 or 5 and instead we sat back and tried to defend a 2-0 lead and f***ed up our formations upfront and played sideways football, utterly pathetic, I am really beginning to think Jol has taken us as far as he can

All the Spurs fans I know feel a similar way or are coming round to that way of thinking yes, the only thing Jol has slightly in his favour is there is no obvious replacement

I agree with that, i think Spurs should wait until the end of the season before making any decisions on the manager front personally.

Yeah I think he will definitely see out the season, so long as we are in the UEFA and FA Cup's I think his job is safe but with recent performances such as Newcastle and tonight and our away form this season I think he is skating on thin ice

I still think you've got a great chance of getting 5th and a decent chance in both the cups you mentioned, it'll be interesting to see if Spurs start to prioritise to really go for 1 of the 3.

Don't see us getting 5th tbh we are just not consistent enough away from home for that and I think it will take the teams above us to seriously slip up for us to get 5th, my priority tbh is UEFA Cup but there is still some very good teams there

Announcement is tomorrow but it will either be a bye or a game against a polish team, I would prefer a bye tbh because the way we are playing atm we would struggle against a pub side

Oh my, just got back from the game, the Gooners were right 2-0 and we mucked it up, Robbie Keane had a stinker. Oh well always next week to look forward too :blink:

Hmm im just waiting until the end. We were in the semis last year and got knocked out in the last minute despite dominating most of the game so i'm not taking anything for granted yet :(
