This act seems to be a charter for everyone to make money apart from the victims of crime or honest law abiding citizens. With prisoners possibly getting pay outs for not being allowed to vote (£1000), in some prisons in Scotland they got £2500 each for slopping out, now there are plans to claim cash for not receiving conjugal visits, a potential breach of a human rights article that covers the right to have children.

Where will all this end. What other loopy judgements have been made in the name of this act.

The human rights act should be abolished and replaced with a British based one similar to Cameron's idea of a British charter of responsibilities

was the act used to sue prison officers for saving someone who attempted suicide???

Ridiculous!!!

There was a case recently of a man escaping from prison and the police decided not to publish his photo as it might infringe his human rights

And who can forget the case last year of the robber who was bombarding the cops with bricks on top of a roof and a helicopter had to be dispatched to supply him with food as not feeding him would breach his rights
