The Jansen - bila cinta adalah sebuah propaganda (wo ai ni)

Love is indeed a propaganda.

Putri Ariani (feat. Abraham Micho) - Wake My Soul

Well, they're trying to make the AGT ballad/pop singer into Evanescence. Nice try, though CowTzy absolutely loves it kek.

In Inertia (feat. Niskala) - What Remains Is Beautiful

Dreamyyyyyyy

Filsummer - Bubuka

This one blends spoken word and Sundanese instrument called suling with emo.

Voice of Baceprot - GARONG

yeah, they're the three girls who pleaded with God for "allowing" them to play music. Cover illustrator Akmal Abdurrahman says he loves his country and hates the government.

Portura - Ye Ye Ye

this one's kinda cheating because they're supergroup consisting of big indie bands/musicians.

Mantradhara - Yamien

finally, an Indonesian kawaii metal song (though the group leans toward hybrid idol-core more) x

Dongker - Nyaris Sempurna, Sedikit Cacat

almost perfect, a little bit imperfect

  • There's no bad choice, really, I would vote for most of these songs - the ones that instantly landed on my playlist (hehe): Putri Arini - Wake My Soul - but I agree with Nine - it might have the cross

I really like the atmosphere of the first one. It's sweet, innocent and somehow warm. I really enjoyed that kind of vibe.

The second one sounds very competitive in general, but honestly, here on BuzzJack I have no idea what counts as competitive. On pretty much any other forum, I think it would be.

The third one sounds really lovely too. I think it's a safe option for the buzzjack. I also love that it's 4:44 long because fours are my lucky number. So if I'm reading the signs correctly, the third one would be the best option for you so far.

Oh, I love the folk instruments and melody in the fourth one! I like the transition in the song too, although I wonder if it might be a little too short for the crowd.

Then Voice of Baceprot – GARONG is probably the one that appeals to my taste the most! I love everything about it.

And I really like Portura too! The visuals are cute, and I think this is my favourite so far, simply because it feels like the best balance between my taste and what others might enjoy.

Indonesian female metal is just okay for me.

The last one is perfect too – romantic, dreamy and beautiful. I love songs with that kind of dreamy atmosphere.

So, my favs are: Voice of Baceprot, Portura and Dongker and the first one.

I can't vote for just one song, so please take these four of mine into consideration when looking at the other votes.

There's no bad choice, really, I would vote for most of these songs - the ones that instantly landed on my playlist (hehe):

  • Putri Arini - Wake My Soul - but I agree with Nine - it might have the cross-appeal, but I can't see it as an alt fave

  • In Inertia - What Remains Is Beautiful - this is amazing and I'm sure it would do well

  • Filsummer - Bubuka - this should do well too, maybe not as instant as In Inertia?
