Yes there is a small cemetary there, as I said earlier - Elvis is not my thing but as we were touring the Southern States and were in Memphis.....well - you really have to go don't you. It was very interesting though. Obviously all very dated now but very opulent. Some of the rooms are indulgent I think. He had a jungle room - very OTT. His plane was very nice - a great way to travel......

 

But, I was very careful what I said while I was there as there were some massive fans around...the money they spent on Elvis souveniers was amazing. Glad we went though.

Thanks Tillywhim, I only liked young Elvis mainly, as for the spellcheck I don't think anybody bothers to be honest, I'm

always making mistakes. :D

I was wondering that too when I read Marguriette's post. I feel sure he'd have been at GA's album launch if he were around. The last sighting must be 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I can't remember reading anything about him since the piccies of him leaving London. Then we had the report of the private gig in Lisbon, but there's not been anything since has there? He may not even have come back to the UK after Portugal, but then again, he's like the flipping Scarlet Pimpernel at the moment "They seek him here, they seek him there " :lol:

 

 

Editing to add: Of course, I forgot, he was seen last Saturday in his car near Shepperton wasn't he? Oh well, let's hope he's holed up writing somewhere this week, maybe he's at his other house waiting for the muse to hit him :D
