Sony hold the Ace card and Will's publishing/distribution contract- even though Will is more than ready to cough up his half towards it. He won't play ball with them re global touring so I suppose they won't make money from it. Shame but hopefully the Devotees can come up with something. I feel sad for the peeps not able to see him live.

Totally agree munchkin. Will is going to be off the scene for quite a while musically & must be at the end of his KO budget so BMG don't see the point in spending money to heighten his profile. DVD sales are fairly small with very little profit for the label. I know other pop acts release them with poorer ticket sales than Will but they are willling to stay on the promo merry go round & release album after album & promote abroad.

 

Not happy at all but I can see their reasoning allbeit shortsighted. :(

I've only just sufaced today after an absolutely brilliant day and a stonking fantastic concert, seeing Will in Birmingham and now I've gone from feeling so high, to feeling absolutely gutted that there's to be no tour DVD. :cry: I really don't know what to say that's printable, hopefully our fantastic Devotees will no doubt come up with a solution and we'll get something sorted.

Haven't been around much to-day, and when I am I can't get into D. Strangely enough OS is OK for me. It really is amazing how for years I had difficulty with OS, now I have no problem with it - well not at the moment. Thank goodness for BuzzJack. :cheer:

 

Editing to say that at the moment there are 105 on OS, and earlier there were 120 so maybe that's why it's been slow for some.

I really don't understand it :???: Surely it can't be that expensive to produce?

Maybe they could take advance orders (and payment) from peeps, and if sufficient orders materialised to cover costs, what reason would there be NOT to do it?

 

I really need to be able to watch a DVD so that I can see what's going on around Will. I haven't been able to take my eyes off him when he's on stage :D

It just did for me as well TT, but it's back again now, there's 112 on at the moment but it can cope with three times that, so I don't know why we keep having problems. :unsure:
