How do we know that bloke said that though? we don't and that's what pisses me off the most, as it was included in the same mag as a sort of "justification" for what the mag had already printed. I no more believe it than I would Neil Sean and to be perfectly honest, I'd rather us on here just forget about it all and move on to more worthy rants, like why the hell should I go into debt to buy lots of useless crappy christmas presents? I'm sick of it already.http://www.devotedfansnetwork.com/forums/images/smilies/tantrum.gif

and yes munchkin, my bogeys were delicious and I washed them down with a cup of nescafe gold blend.

Oh, for at least 40 pages+ and I'm sorry if I've offended any of you  and you're right munchkin, this thread is for ranting in, so forget what I said. :D

Well I'm afraid I'm a bit of an Xmas humbug. :P Even me & hubby don't bother. I buy for my son & daughter, mother & brother & that's it. Stopped buying for other relatives long ago or as you say everyone ends up with crappy presents they don't want.

It's a case of when the cat's away the mice will play, I'm afraid. No-one seems to pull them up for it either.

God I feel so ill :puke2:

Went to see the Sissor Sisters last night, then went on to some club and got a bit........erm :hic: Bit silly considering I had work this morning. I threw up in work  and the boss from hell wouldn't send me home because we were short staffed

Had a huuuuugggggeeeeee argument with my boyf about 3am, and he says he's going to 'put a stop to me galavanting all over the place' Yeah! Course you are love

Early night for me methinks

Hope you are feeling better F/G. At least you had the pleasure before the pain.

How were SS? Bet they put on a brilliant show.

My rant. I've fused all the lights.

They absolutely rocked TT :cheer: :cheer:

Jake was like :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: for the whole set :o He didn't even get out of breath! I was knackered just watching him :P

Sang a good few songs from the first album, which I prefer to Ta Dah, and ended with Filthy/Gorgeous

Twas a great night

Glad you enjoyed SS F/G - hope you're feeling better now. And how on earth did you fuse all the lights TT?

Can someone take me through (step by step as I'm an ignoramus) how to post pics. I used to be able to, but for some reason I can't now. :( Have the boards changed the formula? :???:

Hope this helps chrysalis.

As for my fusing the lights, I was dusting & managed to pull awall light off the wall. When trying to fix it I must have touched a wire with the screw driver. Luckily I'm still here to tell the tale.

Thank God you're all right TT, my son had a very lucky escape a few years ago, he used the butter knife to try and get a tight fitting plug out of the socket as he wanted to plug the toaster in, he ended up the other side of the kitchen on the floor, the only thing that saved him was the butter knife had a bone handle, if it had been metal I'm sure he would have been killed.

By he was lucky suggy. Fortunately I wasn't affected at all although the blue flash & smoke did shake me up a bit. :o I won't be doing anything so silly again in the future without turning off the electric.

Thank goodness you're all right TT. I had a similar experience years ago when we moved into a new house, and I was doing some wallpapering. The previous people had taken the wall lights just leaving the wires sticking out, and silly me didn't cover them as I thought they were dead. Caught one with my left hand. As it did you, it frightened the life out of me.

Thanks for the instructions re pics  - I downloaded a so-called upgrade of Internet Explorer, and ever since then I've had some right problems.

I have an embarrassing story  I had lost my power lead that fitted into my stereo so i adjusted one from a different appliance [ i pulled off some of the rubber from the end so it would fit [ stupid i know but it gets worse ] one day i was bored and watching TV, i was fiddling with the lead, without thinking about it i put it in my mouth [ don't ask me why ] it was connected to the power :o and as the now unprotected metal connector touched my tongue I got a massive shockhttp://bestsmileys.com/eek/2.gif fortunately i only had a minor burn :D

I didn't do that again :hithead:

Jesus girl - you were bloody lucky :o A work mate of mine years ago did a similar thing but with hot oil. She dropped a ladle into a deep fat fryer and put her hand in to take it out. She was lucky that it had only just started to heat up and just ended up with blisters instead of losing her skin like a glove.

Don't we all do such silly things at times. I think the worse silly thing I've done was put wet chips in a fryer and it splashed up and spattered on my face. Lucky I wear glasses but it looked like I had chicken pox - my face was covered in tiny blisters.Thank god you're ok.

And TT too - hope nothing else happens to anyone. :(

Reading back through this thread it's a miracle we're all still alive, :o it just shows why so many accidents and deaths happen in the home.
