It could be a touch of the green eyed monster, it's been quite easy to get closer to Will at the Vortex and hundreds of us have met him for the first time. :wub: :yahoo: I'll probably never get the opportunity again, as it's very different when he's touring with his music as security is a lot tighter, seeing as she lives thousands of miles away, it must be very hard for her to read all the fans stories about meeting Will, so I do sympathise with her a little.

She does like Will and was very pleased he was going to her country but she took everything in the papers too much to heart. I don't think I like the sound of that country much.

I've often wondered if her problem (and her willingness to accept everything that's been said about him) is because he didn't acknowledge her country's flag when she was waving it at Killerton. I always felt that she thought, having travelled all that way, that she would be singled out for special recognition from Will, when the truth is, he probably never thought that it was any more than a foreign national living here .

And knowing that he is short-sighted, I wonder if he even saw it properly!

She used to be in contact with (probably still is) a woman who was quite high up in BMG's offices in her country. This woman was not a fan, and apparently had quite a lot to say about him, our friend seemed to take it all as gospel, which to be honest, all seemed a bit odd when this person had their own career to protect and surely would have had her knucled rapped had it got back to her employers.

I agree Dot - much more a likely explanation. The same with peeps shouting out to him - he can't hear them when he has his ear monitors plugged in.

 

The BMG exec in SA gobbed off to our friend when she phoned her about Will's promo saying things to a complete stranger which were better left unsaid and totally and utterly unprofessional from someone on his label. If you want the details I'll pm you.

That's it Marguerite and Munchkin. She took everything very personal when peeps wanted to know more, and then changed the story more than once, going so far as to alter one of her posts if I remember correctly.

 

I also remember the furore she created after Killerton. As has been said I'm certain he didn't ignore the flag on purpose, but from her reaction you would have thought he had!! :rolleyes:

She certainly does. It wasn't the first time that the BMG woman had tried to make trouble, and put the backs up of Will's fans. The thing was our friend seemed to believe every word the BMG woman said without wondering whether there was an ulterior motive.
