I know, now where's chrysalis when you need her?

Of course George Michael, Robbie, Take That, Elton and Madonna etc can sell out many nights in stadiums, they're bloody superstars from the days when music made superstars out of musicians, Will came from a talent show for gods sake! to be still successful after all this time is an achievement in itself and I'm damn sure when Elton, Madonna and George started out they didn't expect to still be around today, I bet they got plenty of stick from the tut tuts and woodlands of their day as well. I'm trying not to get riled but these endless tossers who have nothing better to do with their time really p*** me off, big time. :arrr: ..........and relax.

I know - totally agree. This bloke's not related to Edward by any chance is he :P They never compare Will with his peers it's always someone who's been around for yonks and is a global star. These global stars rely on their fans to buy into them just as Will does - the difference being that they have about 20 - 40 years head start on Will.

I suppose in a way we should be pleased that they consider him of sufficient importance to be compared.

Why should we or Will care anyway. He may not be a global star but he does have the endorsement of respected musicians. People who know that Will knows his music and aren't ashamed to publicly praise him. You don't have to sit at a piano or strum a guitar to make music.

Sorry but I've got to reply to this - seeing as how he came onto here to read my post:

By the way there is a very big difference in playing one night to 100,000 people and touring the country at various venue playing to the same amount of people. The difference is fans can only be in one place at the same time. And you can't tell me that Will's army only go to one show each and do not spend huge sums of money going to every show they can.

Does this person seriously believe that 10,000 people go en masse from one venue to the next - from Scotland right down to Brighton - and the same 10,000 have bought 7 MILLION cds  I just told my husband and he laughed like a drain. :w00t:

Of course there's a big difference. It means the artist has to have the stamina and vocal talent to sing every night or every other night over a period of weeks/months instead of just the one night to all their fans at once.

That comment just about takes the biscuit. How can he possibly expect people to take notice of him when he comes out with c**p like that.

Brilliant munchkin

 maybe he's a bit slow

I am one of the 10,000 but I only go to two concerts at the most. So that theory is hit on the head straight away. I don't know any fans who go to loads. Most of my friends go to two or three at the most. There are hundreds and hundreds of people who go to Will's (any other artists') concerts. Where does he think the coachloads of people come from? No-one can tell me that they are all from Devoted or the O/S - it is ridiculous.
He's an idiot. So fans of other artists don't go to see them more than once. It's just peculiar to Will.
Poor little toad - he/she/it obviously has such a passion for Will, that he has to cover it up by hiding behind trees.

Well I haven't read any of the purile waffle that this person is posting but I would just like to add that whilst Will incites people like this to post continally it proves he is very much to the forefront of the publics perception

We should only start to worry is if there is ever a time when people don't care enough to post...apathy is the reason most artists disappear. This person is keeping Wills name around even though theres no music at the moment.....so...thank you my friend......keep it up :D

Well, I am so happy to join Buzzjack again, lost in the wilderness for a while, the site looks great and I am looking forward to being on here again

:hi: - nice to see you again.

Our wooden friend has bumped Will's thread up again. Ha ha!

He's a gem isn't he. I agree with Tilly it's apathy that's the death knell to a artists.

Thanks for the welcome back. ( Need to catch up with this great site really missed it)

He says I'm stupid because I have said that Will played to more on tour than Robbie. If he reads his own post back he claimed that Will couldn't fill Knebworth. I said he could because Rob's total for three days at Knebworth was 300,000 - about the same amount as Will played to during his tour. I wasn't comparing the total tour sales.
