I wish I 'got it'! :unsure: Some references to 'D' (the unofficial site, presumably?) which I don't have access to, so trying to work out what's going on at times is like trying to complete a jigsaw with all the pieces turned picture-side down. :blink:

 

I'm aware that there's been some negative press about the SA tour. Did Suggy (from here?) post something elsewhere that sheds more light on it? Any chance you could post it on here, too, Suggy? I've read the bad stuff, I wouldn't mind getting a chance to see what the other side of the coin is! :)

After this article was posted, there was a very busy evening on devoted... Everybody discussed it all over again and things... Some of them agreed that it would be better if Will had never gone to SA, and others said that it's probably just overcoloured... But you'd better go and see for yourself...

Maybe this has a lot to do with Will not being very happy if this report is anything to go by?I've read other reports where people at these concerts had to wait 20 mins between acts because of the bad organization, it must have been an absolute nightmare for Will having a live band, we all know how he's a perfectionist when it comes to getting things right regarding the sound and his performance. I think maybe a lot of the blame lies with the director Duncan Heathfield.The other stuff about Will being a diva, probably escalated as the tours bad organization got worse instead of better, it probably didn't bother the other artists as much as it did Will, as they were just singing to backing tracks. I don't think Will had a happy time of it in SA and he's obviously shown it and as we know, it's making more waves than the other side to this story is doing, that's my take on it anyway. 8-)

And thanks for the snippet of Suggy's post. I guess it's more speculative opinion rather than previously unheard fact and, although interesting to read, doesn't settle the argument one way or another.

 

I really don't get that worked up over this type of press anymore. I don't know if Will's turning into a diva or not (although hasn't he said he sometimes has a major strop?) but as long as he carries on singing so sublimely and looking gorgeous, then I'll still be hanging on in there!

 

As for the casually interested public, I think it's the sort of behaviour they expect from pop stars anyway. It certainly hasn't harmed the careers of George Michael, Madonna, Robbie, Mariah etc. If the music is still good, they'll buy it whether the artist is a diva or not.
