I can never understand how some people get a really short time - it takes me bloody ages to read those long questions

Just been thinking what sort of questions are in this quiz? Are they hard etc? Don't want to make a complete wally of myself, especially as I know next to nothing about anything despite my B.Sc degree!!

I wouldn't say they are hard - it's just a matter of whether you know the answer or not. :D They are a mixture of different countries general knowledge. Films, sports, science, geography etc. etc.

Religion and American questions are the worst, I don't have a clue about them

Can't be doing with sport - I never know the answer on those questions in Trivial Pursuit, but then I know few of the other answers either so there you go. Still I'll give it a try and let the world see what an idiot I am.

The American question are the worst i am learning to be a good guesser :P

It does help if your guessing's on form.

Right, where do I start? :arrr: I've been trying to get online for nearly 2 bloody hours, got through to AOL to sort me out which took ages and then he told me to unplug my modem for 5 mins, then everything would be fine ok? wrong! :arrr: Had to ring them back and got a woman who told me my driver was corrupt and to re-install AOL disc blah blah and said goodbye. Youngest son came home for lunch and sorted everything out in 2mins flat.

I hope luneara manages to catch her flight ok with all the fog. :(

I know, I've posted in the other thread about it, fingers crossed she'll be ok, my PC is still messing me about and chucking me off, but AOL told me they're also upgrading and so services could be interupted from time to time, hopefully it'll settle down.

I've been thinking of Luneara all day. I think she said she was flying to Stansted so I hope everything's OK for her at that airport. She should have flown to Newcastle - we've had brilliant sun all week - well where I live!! The sun shining on the righteous again.

Sorry to hear about your server problems, Suggy - hope it gets completely sorted soon, although your son seems to be a whiz kid with computers. But was it AOL Mumbai, India you spoke to? Earlier in the week I had to ring Lloyds Bank and that's what I got - the woman said I should walk to the bank and they would answer my query!!!!!???? :o I said if I could get to the Bank I wouldn't be ringing.

my heating has gone off, I think i have a leak under the floorboards downstairs, my hubby moved the pipes so they would not be seen, fortunately there is nothing that will be damaged [have a 5 foot drop on to earth on the ground floor] but its damn freezing and i will have to wait for my hubby to get in from workhttp://bestsmileys.com/cold/13.gif

LOL  Suggy it isn't me that has the heating problem (but thanks for the thought) - it's BYM+m's - I was just the one who spoke to Mumbai, India and was told to walk to the Bank - 5 miles away and on crutches :o

Hope your hubby can fix the heating BYM+m's, and you didn't land up with too many icicles on your nose. :D
