I don't think it's the Heat thread in itself that's the problem but in true D fashion, things soon go off topic as we all know so well :rolleyes:

I've just had a peek and it's fading out now, it's human nature to keep going over the same ground I suppose but it just ends up getting too personal sometimes, I didn't post in the thread as I'd nothing to add really. As soon as Will gets back we'll get some info on what he's up to and new pics to discuss instead and that's much more pleasurable. :D

I think it was because of the remarks about people "telling tales". Also someone is a member on there and they wouldn't like it if the thread got too personal.

I have never had access..but i asked today so I could see what the fuss is about...had a look and quickly left :D

It can get a bit :blink: :cry: :( :o :rolleyes: at times - but imo that is what makes D the place it is and, although I sometimes find myself coming here for a bit of peace, I still love D. :D

I have just noticed that i had some mail today, I cant believe i got a letter from the hospital already [about the tests I need] I only went to the doctors on monday...my appointment is for monday, now that is quick.

The thread over on D hacked me off a bit.....the most irritating thing for me was the way so many can't wait to boast how they knew all about it anyway. Well its true that behind the scenes most of the frequent posters did indeed know, but posting it up can make the other members feel very out of the loop which is a bit sad I think. It strikes me as Devoted one-upmanship which I detest, much as I love the site generally

Glad to hear your appointment came through quickly BYM&M's, I went on the waiting list at my hospital for a hand operation and they sent for me two weeks later, the same thing again for one of my fingers and that only took a week before I went and had my op. :o I hope everything goes fine for you on Monday.

I was slightly miffed, to say the least, when I logged on today and found the Heat thread had been moved to AG. What on earth has happened since I left it at Page 13 last night? :o

 

Sorry, but I think things get ridiculously over-protective at times over there. :rolleyes:

**newsflash** .......... It's already been reported ......... what else are 'the wrong sort' going to find out? I couldn't even find anything 'new' out myself even when I was reading it :P

Besides which, it's not even that newsworthy in the greater scheme of things. No mention today in the tabloids (Heat isn't a tabloid, it's a celebrity gossip rag) - that honour was reserved for James Blunt breaking up with his model g/f. It might make the 3am page, accompanied by obligatory sarky comment, but everyone else will have forgotten about it by the time they've turned the page.
