Considering Darius isn't around we aren't doing too bad :D

What we really need is Darius back pursuing his music career here but tbh I think he's torn between being with Natasha in the States and being away from her long enough to do a (mini-)tour over here. I'm afraid that since his father's illness, he may rate personal relationships and happiness higher than his career. Perhaps that's why he wants to travel just now - to sort out his true feelings and priorities and recommit to the things that are really important to him.

 

I don't want to lose Darius to the US but sometimes I think he'd be better starting afresh gigging in small venues in LA initially, so he can do both without his conscience tugging at him. It may be a slower approach but I'm sure his music is strong enough to appeal and he has the myspace for fans to spread the word.

 

As for this forum we just need to be innovative and start a couple of new threads now and again.

I fear that was my fault entirely, pip. I seem to remember that Boo tried to start a general thread at one point and I was the one who objected because there wasn't a direct link to Darius, as I believed there should have been according to the forum rules. Well now I know I was wrong. My apologies to Boo!

you were not alone in thinking that - we were way behind in the chat thread stakes.

Even with plenty of practice, I don't think I'll ever be as articulate as Darius.

 

I love interviews where they ask Darius a decent question and just let him talk. The last one like that, I think, was the Richard Hammond show. better still are shows where he gives his views on subjects other than those directly connected to his career and love life.

 

Someday, when he's a bit older, I hope Darius will do a full blown one man show because IMHO he definitely has the multi-talent to do one right now.
