What? How on earth?

I think it's definitely a case of what the other forums are doing that make us bounce up and down. Maybe more have run out of Boot and Immune threads and we'll plummet again when they come up with their next killer ideas for new threads.

I hope it isn't true but I've just read a post on bj which suggests one of the current OFs will be taken off to accommodate a new one.

There goes the fun competitive rivalry and in comes the CC divisiveness and ill-feeling.

Well if it gets like that I wont bother coming on here on the whole this has been a good place to come.

although I still dont like posting on other forums I do read them

Thats good, hope we can keep up the good work whilst baytree is away.

well. i am aiming to do as little as possible..and to spend as little as possible..I cannot abide the shallowness of it all. months of xmas carolls in the shops and on tv(god help me if I hear slade one more time)..all in a bid to make us feel as if its the season of good will, and that we dont care or we are mean if we dont buy that special someone a new TV or some other mega extravagance for xmas..then come boxing day, its all who cares about that, job done- the GBP have brought into it again and spent all their cash on totally pointless rubbish- lets move on to the sales and see if we can part the mugs with some more of it..I expect cadburies cream eggs to be advertised starting boxing day.

do I sound cynical..LOL...

Why do they always play the most depressing carols? It's a wonder some people just don't curl up and die of depression. All the happy, good natured christmas songs and they play dirges while you wonder around the shopping centres not finding anything to buy.

:o

does it really matter......aren't we having fun.............IT'S CHRISTMASsssssssssssssssssss :D

Xmas = less time on the internet and lots more food and treats. Carol service is tomorrow, I really should put a few decorations up.

The 2 advent songs they sang at church on Sunday were really depressing - worse because they were new to the congregation and everyone was just mumbling to get by. A new Hymnary was introduced a while ago and now the old hymns are sung to trilly new tunes instead of the traditional ones and I haven't heard a new one that's impressed me enough to remember snippets of words or tune.

I must be getting old. I'm beginning to moan about changes.

When I was shopping in Asda the other day, they had one of these Christmas albums on a repeat loop. It was awful. If I hadn't been 'chauffeur' for my friend, I would just have got out.
