As for the backup site....it's like here, you have to request the forum. Given that most of us aren't members on there and just seem to check it out to see why this board is offline, I never requested it. But I will do if you all promise to go on and vote for it!! :dance:

What happened last night here? My bookmark for this forum kept bringing upwhat looked like a shopping index.

 

I'd seen the bit about putting some google ads on the site and at first I thought that was what I was seeing but there was nothing I could do to shift it. I tried every link I knew and only stopped when I saw someone had posted a screen capture of it on the buzzjack backup site. That's when I figured it wasn't me!

I got the same as you last night Baytree, I thought here I go again after last week of not getting on. Glad to see its ok again this morning.

I had it too, tho couldn't get on the backup - it hung the browser! :blink: It's been posted about in the troubleshooting forum, so hopefully we'll know more soon.

What caused what happened yesterday?

 

I was reading over on the backup site last night and discovered something there about that green message (associated with the previous problem) that hijacked my browser, being a hacker - all I want to know more about this for, is to know whether because it seemed to take hold of my browser, can it have left anything unpleasant behind on my PC - that I need to do anything about?
