It's like a trampoline. Sometimes we're in the air and sometimes back down ready to bounce back up.

I just can't understand the massive differences there seem to be :wacko: Weeks when I feel it's been quiet here, we seem to be near the top, then weeks when it seems busier, we are down in the 20's :wacko:

 

I am just happy there are no threats of closure on this much friendlier than some site :)

I suppose it makes the posting of the chart more of an event than if we could all tell in advance from looking at the front index page of the OFs.

 

Me, I'd prefer there not to be a league at all. I don't think it serves any real purpose but I won't argue against it, like I did on that other site, because I'm aware there are lots of people who do enjoy the friendly rivalry and work hard to get one over on their mates next time.

 

yes, most of the OFs view it as a friendly rivaly, openly thinking of ways to out post their rivals. someting not to be taken to heart or sniped about - unless you are really "sad". afterall the placings don't change anything

I think this forum would fair worse if views weren't counted, judging by the figures for that recent overall league table that was done. I'm not keen on it just being about number of posts, because the downside to that is people posting drivel for the sake of boosting the post count. Views demonstrate an overall interest in the forum I think - I like lots of views :D

 

Having said that, it doesn't really bother me where this forum is in the league tables, so long as there continues to be no threat to whichever forums are at the bottom.

According to Kelly if a Forum isn't listed the number of views wasn't worth being considered!!? Green Day weren't on the list either, but have now been added at the bottom. I assume we must be 'rock bottom' for some strange reason!!?? I find that hard to believe but we have had a couple of quiet weeks haven't we! :)

It always seems strange to me that none of the regular Lounge users ever comment on how well or bad the Darius Forum is doing - we just don't exist in some of their minds!! :angry: No-one has commented that we are not included on the list - is it worth querying!!?
