just goes to show, plus I find it very annoying when members from other forums wonder why we can get so high - I mean Aerosmith?? Destinys child, Scissor Sisters and others..qui, its quite obvious some work their way back and forth "supporting" their forums in turn so to speak, but are shocked that an artist they have no idea about may have a busy forum with genuine current news :D

Le's face it - over the last week we have been over the moon and very busy with all the news. I don't mind what position we are in, I do love hearing what's gone on over the last two years to delay his album. Now there's a good chance we'll have two albums within a year.

I should think that has got the Darius is Rhett message out to Buzzjack members!

 

Why is it a surprise to anyone that a forum which stays mainly in the top ten week after week should go to the top in a week when the artist is genuinely international news?

Because most, here and elsewhere, have no idea of just how talented he is. To them, it's a surprise that he's so good he'd win a part like that. I think you can blame the media for quite a bit of that.

Out of interest Pip, are those links to this forum or to buzzjack itself? Anyone coming to the front page of Buzzjack will not find any link to Darius at all, will they?

 

Individual threads on here do come up on Google, I've noticed.

those I have seen are to this forum, or thread, I supppose it depends on the word searched on google etc though, thats how I found this forum and thread linked fomr those search engines..any links I have else where are to this actual forum..

It's funny watching them trying to comprehend how Darius beat all the WE and Broadway actors, isn't it?

 

The people who say he's talentless and no-one's interested in him any more are loudly asserting he only got it because he's a name.

 

Well make up your mind - either he's such a big draw they can hang a brand new WE production on his name alone or he was so good they had to hire him despite his obscurity. Either way the moaners' arguments are shot to pieces.

lol that is my query..either he got the role on talent - as no one will want to go see him as he is a "no body"..as they like to keep on about,

 

OR he got the role purely on being such a big name with pulling power that they over looked the fact he has no talent..those moaning those arguements want their cake and eat it..they want him to be "a no body with no talent"..and that cant wash now as they prove with their insistence of one point or the other..contradicting themselves in the process.

It's like those who said he couldn't hack it live and had to mime all the time. The biggest laugh was when somebody accused him of miming in Chicago! Can you imagine that?

 

What was that flying pigs comment with this week's league table all about? They don't treat the other number ones like that, however unlikely it is that they're sitting atop the table that week. We were simply going about our business. I was totally surprised we were number 1.

Do you think it was the fact we were number one or our banner with Darius replacing Clark Gable?

I expect the number one..can you see them actually noticing the banner, most seem to be in some sort of denial about his very existence.. those who do know why we were number one, and what news we have, probably understood the banner and have made positive posts.

I thought the flying pigs was aimed at scissor sistors. Darius is more often top 5 than not. They are usually nowhere near.

Nope, it doesnt does it - although it rankles some.

mm, I do wonder, more cheating comments..I have posted re usual league patterns, I am hoping its aimed at SS and some of the unusual non explained number ones..if its because we are number one..well that is sour grapes, anyone looking back at the tables can see this forum is consistently popular, as I have just told them.. -_-

The "flying pig comments" was not aimed at Darius in particular, just that the result have been quite unpredictable the last few week.

The same 'flying pig' title was used the previous week .

 

Saying that - no doubt some are surprised when Darius has a lot of activity and appears at the top even when he's more or less Top10 most weeks anyway, such good results perhaps encourages others to take Darius a bit more seriously. :dance:

 

I hope so, well, wish and would love to fall over in surprise. Seriously, if they've not seen him and only read the media, they'd not know anything about him apart from when he was between 19 -21. I'm looking forward to the day he is recognised for being as good as he is. There are peoiple I don't follow on here and have no expectations for but, that's OK, others like them and that is completely valid.
