We are so lucky to have so much happening at the moment. When the same happens to other forums, they'll go up and we'll go down, That's the right way as far as I see it.

It's an interesting way to spam. Getting people to put who they like best. One way to up the post count.

 

 

The thread's in a general forum, isn't it? That's the sort of thing the general forums are for. I wouldn't post Darius's name there because it's just inviting some ignorant young person to lambast a singer they've never heard,

 

I was listening to Josh Groban last night and he sings deeper than Drius but he definitely doesn't sing any better nor my opinion does Michael Buble. They've made reputations throwing out cover versions. Darius has had his success on his own talentand onhis own terms.

I dont really like Michael Buble to be honest, same as I didnt like that other jazz singer..Jamie Cullum - amazing how much hype they get, and for nothing special. Parky was always raving about them on his radio show

I was just going through youtube clips of some of the big names to see if any would voice would appeal to me as much as D's. I don't feel the underlying warmth in others. Jim reeves had it but there are loads of his tapes and LPs in the house. My Mum loved him, Kenny Rogers, Johnny Cash, Hank Snow and I grew up hearing their stuff. Maybe that's why I prefer baritones to tenors and men to women.

totally agree, as someone posted in the af thread, these leagues have nothihg to do with the real world, and its Darisu in the real world I am looking forward to! I can't wait till we just don't have the time to chat on this forum due to being occupied with D things!! hopefully things will start moving soon, its like a watched kettle at the moment

It certainly is. I'm looking for more news all the time. With them recording the docuemtary at the same time, they must not even have time to eat.

I didn't think we'd been so busy last week but I know we've had a lot of guests. Everytime I've been on there have been 2 or 3.

 

on some occasions there were 8 or 9 users here, people loking for info, rather than posting perhaps as there were quite a few guests - there are 6 users now

yup! can't quite beleive it! but darius has more news and stuff going on than a lot of other artists at present, so it figures. 8 users on now - we are getting mor eguests recently,
